New T-Hangars Coming!
As you know, there has been talk for many years of constructing new T-Hangars and tearing down the old blue hangars on the west end, in which your aircraft currently resides if you are located in the B or C rows. The process is now underway. The new hangar construction will commence this spring with current anticipated occupancy dates of 11/18/2026, 12/10/2026, and 12/31/2026 for each of the three units. Each unit has 6 T-hangars. The Board recommends, if you plan to take one of the new hangars and stay on the Airport as you have first right of refusal, that you let staff know and get a lease signed as soon as possible. They have given 30-days from the final occupancy date for all existing tenant to vacate the building, either by moving to a new hangar, or to another airport. This is critical because we must tear down the old hangars to make way for planned construction. So at the latest, the current schedule would indicate the end of January 2027 as the deadline, but that date may be sooner. The price of the new hangars will be $225.00 for the first two years and $250.00 for the remaining three years of the 5-year lease.
